These filaments are usually arranged in fans or sunbursts and can come in a wide range of colors, such as gold, red, green or black. These inclusions are often rutile, goethite, epidote, or black tourmaline. This is a stone of wisdom and practicality, making it easier to learn lessons, skills, or better habits. Agates are thought to be vitalizing and stabilizing. It is said that agates can improve memory and stamina.
